Within 3 seconds the door locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming. Using the door control pad located on the driver s side door press the lock and unlock buttons once again for five passes. Press and release lock or unlock button. Turn the ignition to on and then back to off and remove the key from the ignition.

Insert your key into the ignition switch and put it in the run position. Once your car is in programming mode with the remote you are trying to program press the unlock and lock buttons simultaneously for about 2 seconds then release and press just the lock button for 1 second. Remove your key from the ignition then wait for doors to lock and then unlock twice. Press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds.

Close the driver s door. Repeat button procedure to program remaining remote transmitters. You must complete these operations within 40 seconds. This is the best and easiest fix.

If the door locks cycle twice repeat steps a and b in step 6 as the remote was not accepted. Repeat steps a and b in step 6 for each new remote. If you key fob no longer unlocks the doors it is time for a new battery. System should now lock and unlock vehicle once to confirm registration twice to indicate registration has failed.
